A Step-by-Step Guide to the Admission Process
1. Application Form and Documents
- Submit a completed application form along with all required academic transcripts, passport copy, CV, and other supporting documents.
- Ensure all documents are certified and translated into English if necessary.
2. Registration Fee and Conditional Acceptance Letter
- Pay the registration fee to initiate the admission process.
- Receive a Conditional Acceptance Letter from the university confirming your eligibility for admission.
3. SKVC Verification
- SKVC (Academic Information Centre) evaluates and verifies foreign educational documents.
- This step ensures that your academic qualifications meet Latvian educational standards.
4. Study Contract and Invitation Number
- Sign the study contract with the chosen university.
- Receive your official Invitation Number, which is required for visa processing.
5. Welcome to Latvia
- Once your visa is approved, you can travel to Latvia and begin your studies.
- Baltic and Global Experts provide post-arrival support, including accommodation guidance and university coordination.
Additional Admission Requirements
- Overall, a minimum of 70% grades is required. English and Mathematics must be passed in high school for all applicants.
- English proficiency certificate / Mode of Instruction Letter is required to prove a B2 level. As an alternative, applicants can take the B2 exam provided by Baltic and Global Experts. A minimum score of 50% on 100 is needed to pass.
- Age limit: 30 years for all programs offered.
